However, we are not the only ones who tend to put on a few extra pounds over the holidays - many dogs gain holiday weight as well. Some may think chubby dogs look kind of cute and funny, but canine obesity is no joke. Sadly, weight problems are all too common for dogs these days. Why? I think a large part of the problem is the sedentary lifestyle of so many dogs. There is also the issue of over-feeding and inappropriate eating. The bottom line is this: It's time to take action.
