3 day old Chihuahua Puppy with cleft palate

Everyone meet Panda Worm. She is now just over 3 days old. It didn't seem like she was getting anything from sucking on a bottle...and even though we tried to help her feed off her mommy too...she wasn't getting any bigger. Today, day 3, she wasn't as active and was looking a blue tinge. Worried we took her to the vet and found out she wasn't gaining weight because she wasn't able to suckle due to a cleft palate. I do not plan to give up on this little sweetheart...so pray she makes it...and that she can get a surgery in a month+ to fix this and live a long and happy life : )This video is of her after we got back from the vet feeding her via a syringe. If your pup also has a cleft palate...this seems to work for us...cutting the nipple off a bottle and putting it on the tip of the syringe. Will update with more videos.Put this little love in your prayers! xox
